Synopsys acquires BISTel Semiconductor and flat panel display solutions

Headquartered in South Korea, BISTel is a leading company in the field of semiconductor intelligent manufacturing engineering equipment systems and artificial intelligence applications. After the completion of this acquisition, Synopsys will further expand its industry-leading semiconductor manufacturing process control solutions by integrating comprehensive yield management and forecasting solutions to assist customers in improving production quality and efficiency. The acquisition will also bring a team of experienced engineers to Synopsys, who will be able to accelerate technology development through real-time manufacturing predictive analysis in the future.

The transaction complies with customary closing conditions and has been approved, and is expected to be completed in the fourth quarter of Synopsys' 2021 fiscal year. The terms of the transaction will not have a significant impact on Synopsys’ financial status and will not be disclosed.
