Suntech enters Kazakhstan's photovoltaic market

As the first major project for Suntech to enter the Kazakhstan market, the Agadyr project used more than 150,000 high-efficiency polysilicon modules with a total capacity of 50MW. The annual direct solar radiation duration is about 2,600 hours. According to the Paris Climate Agreement, Kazakhstan is committed to reducing its carbon emissions by 15% in 2030 compared to 1990. In addition, Kazakhstan plans to make renewable energy account for half of its total energy consumption by 2050.
