Sprint Made in Vietnam! Hon Hai recruits more than 1,000 employees in Vietnam

According to the Economic Daily News, Hon Hai Group launched a series of recruitment plans in Vietnam, recruiting more than 1,000 employees in Bac Giang and Bac Ninh provinces. In addition to assembly operators, it also listed the positions of engineers.

According to Vietnamese media reports, Hon Hai Group issued a recruitment message locally, and wanted to recruit more than 1,000 employees in the Beijiang and Beining factories in Vietnam. In addition to assembly line operators, Hon Hai has also opened supplier quality engineers (SQE), artificial intelligence (AI) engineers and other positions.

According to a report in January this year, the Vietnamese government announced that it had approved the Hon Hai Group to invest US$270 million in the establishment of a factory in the local new company Fukang Technology. The new plant is mainly located in Bac Giang Province, Vietnam, and will manufacture 8 million devices every year.

The Vietnamese government pointed out that Hon Hai has invested 1.5 billion U.S. dollars in the local area so far, and plans to increase its investment by 700 million U.S. dollars this year and recruit more than 10,000 local workers.

It is reported that Hon Hai’s new plant in Beijiang in Vietnam is mainly at the request of its major customer Apple. In the context of increasing political risks in the Sino-US trade war, Hon Hai hopes to transfer part of its Mac and iPad business to Vietnam and is expected to start production within this year. .
