SIA: Global Semiconductor Sales Grow 19.1% to $627.6 Billion in 2024

The Semiconductor Industry Association (SIA) has announced that global semiconductor sales reached $627.6 billion in 2024, representing a 19.1% increase from $526.8 billion in 2023. In the fourth quarter of 2024, sales totaled $170.9 billion, marking a 17.1% year-over-year increase and a 3% sequential growth.

Among regions, annual sales saw growth in the Americas (44.8%), China (18.3%), and the Asia-Pacific/All Other category (12.5%), while Japan (-0.4%) and Europe (-8.1%) experienced declines. In terms of product categories, logic semiconductor sales totaled $212.6 billion, while memory products accounted for $165.1 billion. DRAM sales surged by 82.6%, making it the fastest-growing segment among all categories.
