Benefits of DRAM and NAND Flash contracted to rebound at the end of July and the end of August respectively. The ADATA operation of the memory module factory continued to heat up. The consolidated revenue in August increased by 14.04% from July to reach 2.352 billion Taiwan dollars (the same unit). However, it still fell by 30.44% compared with the same period of last year. ADATA said that although the spot price of DRAM has fallen back recently, it is expected to have a limited decline. The timing of the lowest price of DRAM and NAND Flash this year has passed.
ADATA believes that with the unresolved international trade disputes, the demand for traditional new products on the market, and the demand for 5G applications in the data center layout, as expected, the company will not only increase its third-quarter results month by month, but also have a chance to grow in the overall operation. We greet the memory replenishment in the fourth quarter.
ADATA pointed out that due to the long price correction period of NAND Flash, the price of this wave rebounded at the bottom of the time compared with DRAM, and the rebound rate is also obvious than DRAM, so the customer replenishment situation is positive.
In terms of product prices, revenues from NAND Flash products including solid-state drives (SSDs), memory cards and flash drives in August all hit a single high this year, and SSD product revenue climbed to 737 million, even more in December 2016. Since its new high, it has accounted for 31.35% of the total revenue. Overall, ADATA's DRAM products accounted for 41.73% of total revenue in August, and non-DRAM products accounted for 58.27% of total revenue.
Accumulated ADATA consolidated revenue for the first eight months of this year was 16.393 billion yuan, an annual decrease of 25.49%. The revenue of DRAM products is 47.93%, and the proportion of non-DRAM products is 52.07%.
