Apple’s 2025 iPad Air to Feature 90Hz LCD Display

Sources indicate that Apple plans to equip its 2025 iPad Air with a 90Hz LCD display. In addition to the iPad Air, Apple is also actively pushing to incorporate 90Hz displays in its 24-inch iMac and Studio Display.

The current 2024 iPad Air models feature 60Hz LCD displays, with the 11-inch version offering a resolution of 2360 x 1640 and the 13-inch model at 2732 x 2048. Both models support the P3 color gamut, with maximum brightness levels of 500 nits and 600 nits, respectively.

The 2025 iPad Air is expected to come with the M3 chip and an upgraded 8GB of RAM. These hardware enhancements are set to further boost the device's performance, supporting more efficient processing capabilities. Additionally, the device will support Apple's “AI-powered features,” providing users with a more intelligent experience. A new Magic Keyboard is also expected to launch alongside the updated iPad Air.

According to international reports, the 2025 iPad Air is likely to maintain the design style of the 2024 model, featuring an aluminum body, flat edges, and smooth contours. The device will also retain the Touch ID power button and USB-C port.

In addition to the iPad Air, Apple is working to upgrade the display performance of its product lineup by incorporating 90Hz displays in the 24-inch iMac and Studio Display.
